"‘love sees no gender’ upsets me so much; it feels ridiculous to be made to feel guilty because mine does. this is so present in pretty much every aspect of sexuality. when i was identifying as poly (not that i don’t now, i just…gah,) other polyamorous people used to side up to me, tell me how cute and bourgeois monogamous people were. someone i met (hah) this summer had these t-shirts made, ‘i’m not monogamous, i’m just lazy.’ what the fuck, people? embracing sexuality is about accepting everyone’s, not installing yet another hierarchy that people will need to overcome to find support."
I love this especially for the aside “not that i don’t now, i just… gah.”
